Vintage Pigeon Park

I came across this 'then & now' shot of the corner of Pigeon Park, and found it interesting to see it as a busy 'hub' street corner back in the 1960's when the first shot was taken, and that the design of the actual park itself had more greenery, with lots of seating to people-watch:

Blatant Segregation

A glimpse at how one might see Pigeon Park, right now - pretty much a segregation of Downtown Eastside residents and the wealthy, working and moving into this up-and-coming part of the city: the reason a redesign of this park 'hub' needs to happen to help bring everybody together!
