Work starts on Monday, but I'm ignoring that for now...

Hey, strangers! It's midterm time around here, so I haven't been doing much but madly finishing essays, prints, the start of scholarship application crazyness, and work. This means a bit more computer time, though...which means I've found a lot of new (old) favorite songs this week... ;) lol.

I love Ellie's voice...such cute songs! I shot a video a few months ago for class that featured my boots and lots of leaves - the second video reminded me of it...

I'll post something other than videos, soon...heh. I finally get to sleep for a full 8 hours (yeah!), starting now, and then two more days of work (and an animation screening, thrown in there) and I have a week off from classes. Still have to work, but thank goodness I can partially chill for a small bit. :)

It's been a bit since I've shared what I'm listening to, here - I think I may have found Noah through Sons of Anarchy (can't remember!), but I've been listening to his 'Family' EP on quiet Sundays for a bit. Give it a listen:

Hope it adds to the calm of today, for you. Sundays have felt like this for a bit - they're the day to tie up loose ends, plan the week, and get things done, for me. I'm quietly working on homework for this week - midterms are here already (what?!) so there are multiple essays to work on and finish, fingerprint portraits for Print class to get done, and a few other things I'm toddling away at - and (in a dream), I'd have a moment to crochet this evening...

I feel like such a lucky girl!

Got to see City & Colour kick off the Canadian leg of their tour, last night. :) Heaven! I got tickets to it for my birthday present to myself...heh.

And oh my. Was it rad. Dallas has such amazing range in his voice, and it was more than amazing, live. :) I feel like I've gone through some heartaches and growing up, listening to his voice over the years...his words feel like a bit of home. Or memories. Close-your-eyes kind of goodness.
