Nothing Needlepoint Can't Fix.

My head is kind of a whirlwind of deadlines and when-to-do-what to get her all done, as usual. I need to finish two essays this week, a visual response to literature, 20 identical woodcut prints, group project meetings, and prep for a massive drawing project. Bah! On top of deadline week at le fulltime job.

Sometimes when all that whirls through my brain on a continuous cycle, I just want to look at something cute and pretend my brain is...empty. Like so:

I found a whole pile of these colored small needlepoints thrifting last year, and I have no idea what to do with them, yet. Most are warped. Most are weird square shapes too small for any frame I've ever seen! But they sure are cute...

Embroidered Goodness.

Oh my, I miss crafty time.

I miss embroidering and crocheting. I wish there was more time to squish it in between 40 hours of work and 4 classes...but, alas. I'm out of luck! lol. At least til April...I'm already planning planning for projects to do with my summer time off, but til then - I came across the stunning work of Daniel Kornrumph the other day and fell in love. Seriously:

Of Christmas Past...

Oh, it's December. That's crazy talk, really.

I'm starting to see delicious little DIY's popping up all over the place, now that the season is officially underway! 24 days away, to be exact. Crazy, no?? Who hasn't thought about Christmas yet?!  (My hand is up!) Anyhoo, I have no crafty moments to whip up any DIY's of my own, this year, but I did a delightful little one last year:
