Ah! Seems I'm about to be engulfed by homework, this week....lol. :)
But seriously - the first big deadlines are looming, and I'm having trouble figuring out when to fit stuff it. That's the hardest part about working so much is the - oh, I have to book a few hours in the woodshop? In the photo center? At the dentist? When the hell am I going to do that?!
Anyhoo - for Design History class, I have to write a little blog - just a few posts over the next few months in line with what we're learning...
You can pop over here to read my lil bit of for-web academia.

I've been thinking a lot about handcraft vs. the mechanical age, these days.
And reliance on technology.
I wish we all still lived in villages and made everything by hand... :) he he.
On a nerdy note: I've been dying to write about the lack of useful pockets in women's clothing lately (and the societal issues surrounding that design decision), since I often ride my bike and have nowhere to put my keys to get into work because skirts don't have pockets. Drives me nuts! I'm taking all my critical studies courses next summer, so I'm sort of missing essays right now...lol. Funny, but true.
Just a lil bit of what I've been up to!
