I have to start this post by saying...I don't know my camera very well. Still. It's been years, now. I have no clue how to shoot in low-light situations (but hope to learn to do so manually very soon), and the auto low-light setting sucks.
That said, I ended up taking a million billion blurry shots of the nephew in the waning sunlight one night on our visit - you know, as best you can try when boys just don't stop, knowwhatImean - as mister husband wrangled him into his lap repeatedly for a cute little photo of them two together.
Chaos ensued:
I was unsure about whether or not I liked any of them at the time, but looking back on them now, they tell quite the little story - which I quite love. :)
You can feel the frenetic energy of him running back and forth to the window while we 'caught' him with various little interesting bits/toys...he he.
I was a bit distracted when they were in color, maybe, but as soon as I tried this rad B&W Photoshop action - it was love. It made them look like they'd been captured on film, these photos. And now they have a little soft spot in my heart - these true, happily blurry little moments.
We love him so. :)
