I don't know if it's because I'm an art student, know...or having worked in a creative field and being over-booked, I guess...but I really relate to every drawing Lizzy Stewart posts on her lovely blog/diary, Solo.
Have you seen her work, yet? I hope so:
One of my favorites, right here.
She also publishes monthly zines of these lovely drawings, too.
Currently sold out, but right here.
I've had to get back into homework mode again, this weekend. Well, I tried to start Friday, but it was kind of an epic fail. lol. It is sooo nice to have had this past week off of school (thanks, 'reading week'!), that it's hard to get going, again!
Literally, my hand was refusing to write notes yesterday and everything came out a garbled mess (it felt like it had been years since I held a pen!). I did get a bit of research done for an essay, but my brain is like - 'whoa, hold on a minute, there!'. Plus, I can't seem to get anything done without fire under my ass (pardon the phrase...lol) - so I figured yesterday was time to drink some ginger for the impending sore throat, make some kale chips and steamed buns, and settle in for some husband time before school starts again. Today has been major cold-fending-off - I maybe have a few more hours of writing said essay before I pass out from this weird stuffed head feeling. Ugh! Don't you dare, cold!
How has your weekend been?
