My University has an insanely cool library - I'd be lying if I said I didn't spend nearly every free school moment, there. lol. (insert nerdy snort/laugh, here). But seriously, it's got stacks of recent awesome art & design maagzines, too (I was psyched to see my favorite Uppercase in the archives, there!)
Anyhoo, I came across Tom Lovell's illustration work in the most recent Illustration magazine, and I immediatley fell in love with it:
Gorgeous work, no? Don't they look like photos, almost?
He captured such a lovely era.

Secret of mine: I've had aspirations to launch a magazine as my thesis project. Yes, I'm in first year. I've seriously been thinking about it for so long and would one dya love to try to make it happen.
