I made this little mini book about the 'cupcakes of life' for the Mini feature, too.
It's about 4 x 5 inches - nice and little! I wanted to capture all the favorite little bits of life that are like tasty, special-occasion morsels of the everyday. :)

It's been a while since I made a mini (oh my - am I stuck in a 12 x 12 rut?!), and I remember me being slow at them. lol. I wanted to include a lot of pictures but not have it take a ton of time to do - so I printed a stack of them, freehand cut a stack of paper strips, and then sat at my machine and quickly stitched through, adding paper borders to each photo and crinkling/pleating as I went, in layers. Super-cute & easy! :) Faster than it sounds, for sure...
I trimmed some, but mostly embraced the loose-threads-everywhere on this.
