I have another craft show coming up on May 8th (Yay, Got Craft!) - and the first batch of lucky shoppers through the door gets an awesome 'swag bag' full of goodness from all the vendors! There's literally a big line-up, because of this...
I was kind of stumped on what to do for my contribution, until I started playing around with my yarn and ended up freestyling a little mini octopus crochet patch! I made the pattern myself, and figured he'd be cute to wear as a pin, or even to sew onto a kids' shirt or a bag!
He's pretty cute - and his little tentacles even curl on their own, a bit!
I'm pretty psyched that I had an idea and could translate it into yarn, too, without a pattern of any sort! super-exciting! And also a little addicting...I'm sure there will be more and more of my own lil patterns popping up here, this year, now, as I explore that side of yarn!
What would you sew your crochet octopus patch onto?
I loved them all stacked together in the box, as a clan! :) he he.
PS - I'm still accepting sponsors for May, if you'd like a spot to promote your shop or blog! The system is automated this month, so hop over here!
