I'm still wading through the suitcase, unpacking, and trying to get myself organized over here - I have a teeny bit of work to do over the next few days - and a hop-skip out to the dentist today (this is A-ok, cuz it means a chai latte run & a thrifting fix while out).
While I'm here thinking about my new year's goals & getting some scrapbooking together, I came across this yarn magazine from Lion Brand on my desk that mucho inspired me when it arrived in my mailbox at the beginning of winter. It immediatly made me yearn for cute stacks of colorful, touchable yarn in my craft space, like these. Yummy, no? Enjoy!
One of my New Years' goals is to make a large circle-granny square blankie for our bedroom in a multitude of lovely colors, so I'm officially inspired to do so and I started yesterday using colorful yarn scraps from my stash. Yay!
On the to-do this week: Some shopping for the apartment, scrapbooking for the upcoming CHA trade show, update my scrapbook resume, blog format work for Freckled Nest, upcoming birthday plans (I turn 26 on Friday!), replace falling-apart boots & forgotten flats, get a cute 2011 planner (feeling lost without one!), close eyes and dream of Anthropologie coming to Vancouver (lol).
