I have a lil guest post today up at Sunshine & Carousels, Erin's lovely blog:
A bigger peek at the scarf I made to brighten up my winter wardrobe!
I made this easy peasy, super-long scarf from a pattern I got in Crochet Today! a few months back: the 'Funky Chunky Scarf'. I used an 8mm crochet hook & my favorite Vanna's Choice mustard yarn to make it, and it took me a few hours one night to do, snuggled on the couch. :)
I swear, it's soooo long & toasty, I can wrap it around my neck three times, if need be, and I feel like it keeps my ears warm without them even being covered!
I'm pretty proud of my first crocheted wearable, easy or not. :)
I had a moment of clarity when tying the fringe to the bottom - as if it was some kind of mystery I was just discovering how to do...lol. So easy! Silly, I know. :)
I have a cute ornament DIY + free pattern that I'll try to have posted for tomorrow morning Saturday - so many cute Christmas posts in the works, I just need a moment to get em up! :) Peek back if you like embroidery!
