I'm over-the-moon at now being the proud owner of my very own Dottie Angel-esque photo, styled with true-as-can-be Dottie Angel things. (Looking particularly grandma-ish, I have to say) from the lovely Tif herself! Eek!
And perhaps had I known my blue sweater would be the first thing you see
(it's just so bright...lol), I would have taken it off for the photo op, but you know. I was so excited about my apron that I didn't even realize. And, also, it's covering up this skull shirt that I had on - which is not very grandma.
This was the first project we made at the workshop, that I'm wearing: a vintage pillowcase apron wrap. It's hard to see, but it says 'hello yellow' on the pocket.

I'm playing hardcore catch-up this weekend on freelance work (I had to run to the clinic last night unexpectedly - agh! - so not even e-mails are caught up yet) - but I have plans to pop in with a new playlist (finally!) here tomorrow & wade through photos, so I'll have a whole bunch to share early next week!
I am hoping to go for a run & get back on some sort of healthy-eating schedule & hit up the farmer's market & close-by thrift shop this weekend too, of course.
Also on my list-to-do-finally: scrapbooking. Yay! It's been a while. Mix & Mend, Count Me In & Indie Girl, here I come! I'm hoping for a lot from October, and after I catch up I can finally start some of those things! So excited...
And I'm so in denial that it's October. It looks like an August day out there, I'm going to pretend it's August for a little bit longer. :)
