As promised, here's the second part (2nd of three!) of my art journal. :)
The first part of my 'Summer of Love' journal is right here.
Here are a few of the inside pages, now!
First, inside the cover's 'for' page:
And the second dedication page right behind that one, because I ran out of room to write, lol. I always forget about that...
I used pencil crayon, watercolor pencil & marker to write on the masking tape.
Also: my first jaunt with washi tape, if you couldn't tell...love it to bits!
And, hello messy writing! lol. I admit, I can't read my writing most of the time when I just 'write' to get it out or I'm hurrying. This happens more often than I care to admit, actually. I like it here on this journal - it's just not helpful when, say, I jot a note on a post-it & then try to read it a few hours later...lol.
Funny story: During the Sabrina Ward workshop, we did a lot of free-writing before beginning our day, and on the first day I assumed free writing was just a 'get it out' exercise, so I wrote and wrote and wrote a lot, and then we were finished with the prompts & were told we had to share what we'd written, and my heart sank - nothing on my page was readable! lol. My poor partner poured her heart out to me reading her beautiful free-writing aloud while I had to bumble through, giggling at the horrible-ness of my writing and trying to remember what I had written, which pretty much proved impossible! Goodness me.
Part 3 of my art journal will be posted up next week !
It's my favorite pages from the book (with nice writing on it, too! lol). :)
Some blank pages from the rest of the innards, I leave you with:
