I was shuffling through my stack of doilies and thrifted vintage goodness last night, contemplating sewing projects that I can't keep my mind off of (the collecting-bits part is complete, now onto inventing & making, soon - after
this drawing project is done)...lol. Where was I going with this?
Anyhoo - I came across this beautiful needlepoint cushion I found at Value Village a few weeks ago and re-fell in love (because it had been buried for a few weeks, you see - I completely forgot about it!). :) It's unfinished (just the stitched front of a never-sewn-together cushion), but it'll make a rad addition to my needlepoint wall in the bedroom that's ever-growing, I just need to find it a frame - or perhaps sew it into a cushion? :)
What would you do with this lovely?
(It's folded in half, here - as it came...must iron out that crease somehow!)
PS - that's the cutest lil vintage also-thrifted blue potholder behind it, which is also my new obsession - among the needlepoint, crocheting, and doilies. :)
