I have the cutest Pirate Friday in the whole world to share with you!
It may be a secret to you, cuz I don't think I've shared yet, but I've been contemplating getting a seriously big nautical inspired tattoo/half-sleeve sometime in the (hopefully very near) future. It's been years since I've gotten some new ink, after a stretch of getting a bunch of lil ones in a short window, so I'm harsh jonesing for one & have been humming and hawing and thinking of exactly what I want for this one for a while, now. It's a big commitment,
so it requires a lot more pre-thought than the little guys, of course. :)
Anyhoo - in the midst of looking for ideas, I randomly stumbled across the sweetest still-work-in-progress Tattooed Sailors from My Paper Crane

I've since been stalking her shop to see when I can nab one for my own...he he.

Officially, I see this as a sign. :)
I have to start looking for the ideal tattoo artist in town for my piece - know any talented tatt artists here in Vancouver? Now, to build the fund up, too - I have to start saving for school, so I'm supposed to stop splurging - will have to get crafty with that. :) And don't worry, reading moms - it will be lovely.
